Introduction
The speaker contends that Macaulogy -- Aomen Xue 澳門學 or Macau Studies – should not be a monolithic dissection of an historical past, but a polymorphic approach to an historical and dynamic phenomenon originated by the simple existence of Macau. Thus, besides the development of the concept, this occasion shall be an opportunity to think over the contents and the accumulated substance that allow us all to speak today of Macaulogy.
